Before you order

What's included in the price?

The video consultation and refrigerated delivery are included. Health insurance does not apply.

Can anyone order Mounjaro?

The doctor decides whether it's suitable for you and which dose to prescribe. In Japan, Mounjaro is approved to treat type 2 diabetes, not for weight loss.

Can I use this without a Japanese phone number?

Yes. You can reach us on LINE, WeChat, WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, or Zalo.

Can I ask questions before buying?

Yes. Even before you apply, you can ask about delivery, how to use it, and getting ready to go home, in your language. Reach us from the contact page.

Consultation & payment

What happens after I pay?

After you fill in the health questionnaire, send your first message on the app you chose in your cart. We'll arrange your video consultation.

What languages can I use for the consultation?

Any language. Both the video consultation and chat can be in your language.

Can I have the consultation before I arrive in Japan?

Yes. If you finish the consultation before you leave, it will be at your hotel the day you arrive.

We deliver only to addresses in Japan.

How much can I be prescribed?

The doctor decides, based on your situation during the consultation.

What if the doctor can't prescribe?

If the doctor can't prescribe, you get a full refund. Your order is canceled.

Delivery & pickup

Will it arrive before I leave Japan?

Before you pay, enter your hotel dates when you confirm how you'll receive it. We ship after the doctor approves.

If your consultation ends by 3:00 pm (Japan time), we ship the same day; after 3:00 pm, the next day. It arrives the day after shipping (two days after for Hokkaido and Okinawa). We have no days off and ship on weekends too.

Can I pick it up in Osaka instead of delivery?

Yes. After the doctor approves, you can pick it up at Ritz Cosmetic Surgery Osaka (a 5-minute walk from Umeda). Pickup times are 10:00 am–6:30 pm. Same-day pickup is available if you apply by 5:30 pm (Japan time). Check the clinic information before you visit.

What if my hotel can't accept refrigerated parcels?

Before shipping, we let the hotel know in Japanese.

If the hotel still can't accept it, message us in the chat and we'll find another place together. You may be able to pick it up at a Sagawa office or a convenience store.

What if I change hotels during my trip?

When you apply, enter the hotel you'll be staying at on the delivery day. Choose that city in the arrival check, too.

Where is my order now?

We send tracking details by email and chat. You can see the next step on your order status page.

Taking it home & next time

Can I take the medicine home to my country?

Rules depend on your destination, the type of medicine, and the quantity. Check the official rules of the country you're taking it to before buying and before flying.

We summarize each country's guidelines in our Taking it home guide.

Can I add a doctor's certificate?

You can add a certificate for declaring at customs (¥3,000) on the same screen as your medicine (one per order). It is written in English and your language, with your name as on your passport and the medicine's name, strength, and quantity. It does not guarantee customs clearance.

What should I do if customs stops me?

Message us on the app you used for your order. We'll work out the next steps with you.

Do I need a consultation next time?

If you reorder within 12 months, you don't need a new consultation. Let us know if your health or the medicines you take have changed.
